Due to the bespoke nature of all S Y L F A A E pieces, all sales are final. Because of this, please take your time to decide on a piece and be sure of your purchase before you buy. Please note that there may be some subtle differences between each specific piece due to them being individually handcrafted. If you require any other pictures or have any questions regarding your purchase, please feel free to contact me and I will accommodate you as best as I can.
Made To Order / Ready To Ship
All S Y L F A A E pieces are individually made to order, meaning that unless it is "Ready to Ship" on the website, it may take a few weeks for your jewellery to be made after you have ordered. You will receive an email when your pieces have been dispatched, with a link to your AusPost tracking number to know when your order will arrive. Please also note that depending on any shipping delays it may take an extra week or so to be delivered to you (which is out of my control), so please bear this in mind especially towards the end of the year.
If you are ordering a made-to-order piece as a gift, please bear in mind this timeline so you can receive your gift on time. If you are unsure whether the timeline will work, feel free to send me an email and I can give you an idea of when to expect your pieces to be ready by. Pieces that are already made and in stock will be marked as "Ready to Ship" in their title, and will be dispatched within the week.
Ring Sizing
Unfortunately I do not offer ring resizing at this time due to the bespoke nature of my rings, so please make sure your measurements are as accurate as possible and you are absolutely sure about the size when purchasing a ring. I can hammer a ring to be a size or so larger however, if that helps. Please see the "Ring Sizing" section on the website for more information about this, and how to determine your ring size. I have tried to make this section as detailed and thorough as possible for your convenience. I am happy to answer any questions you have, to ensure you are confident with choosing the right size.
Postage
Please take note of your shipping information provided to me with your purchase, making sure that all of your details are correct, to ensure a smooth delivery process. Please also keep your tracking number handy for your parcels, as once your order leaves the studio to be shipped it is completely out of my hands. I am not responsible for a parcel if it has been stolen or misplaced in the shipping process, as I have no control over the whereabouts once the order has left the studio. Please contact Australia Post (they have an online form) if you have any issues with your postage and shipping process.
Damages
If your item is damaged upon receiving your order (that was not as a result of postage mishandling), you have 14 days after you have received your order to report this to me, complete with photos and receipt as evidence. Assessing each situation individually, your options will either be to receive the same or similar piece as an exchange, or receive store credit, once the piece in question is shipped back in its original packaging (pouch and box) in a padded mailer (to protect your piece). These options will only be completed once the piece has successfully been delivered back to me in an acceptable condition. Each situation will be reviewed individually, and I have the right to refuse requests if I suspect there is any foul play. Please note that these options are only for damages, and NOT for change of mind.
Please bear in mind that S Y L F A A E is a small one person business solely run by me, and I cannot afford to operate the same way as a big business.
Harrassment and Bullying Policy
I have zero tolerance for any inappropriate attitudes or behaviour - including rudeness, entitlement, haggling, being patronizing or offensive, or anything else that I deem unacceptable. I will not hesitate to cancel your order and not accept any future orders or enquiries from anyone that I believe to be behaving in this way. Please choose to be kind.
Christmas / Holiday Purchases
Due to the huge influx of packages being sent at the end of the year through Australia Post due to Christmas and the Holidays, I close my online store for several weeks from around mid November (to mid January) to ensure everything gets to you on time. As a result, please remember to make any Christmas / Holiday purchases as early as possible to avoid any disappointment. I usually announce when my store is closing in advance (closer to the date).
Furthermore, if I need to make a piece with a specific size / stone for this occasion, it needs to be made to order which will take at least a few weeks to do - so please also bear this in mind in relation to when my store will close for the year.
